Foresight: A Poem

He looked around him

at the wreckage of his classroom,

Recoverable and fixable, just the debris of war….

Once again another meltdown that had to be restrained;

Once again, the signs had been there,

and his foresight and experience shone through

and made the way to safety for an innocent soul

who had no control nor any vendetta

against those around him;

just the demons in his mind.
