A card laid reversed or straight
opening a doorway; an identity of self
a guidepost towards guided fate.
They unveil the deep inner side
of the journey either unsure or likely,
Each figure proclaiming a turn or a tide,
a reflection of one’s secret psyche.
Each persona, each symbol, bears special note
and command detail and attention,
in order to speak, with a clear, silent voice
a world of unspoken intention.
